i am 11 years old and i see all these movies and adds with people wearing thongs/g-strings. when shoudl be a good age for me to wear one, p.s there are like 3 girls in my grade hoo have thongs and they have all kissed a boy on the lips b4

You are still too young to be worried about all of that mess. You should probably wait til your at least old enough to date before you wear a thong and start kissing boys. Enjoy being a kid while you can. I know you wanna grow up fast but don't because when you do get grown up believe me you'll wanna be a kid again.
Sweetheart, you need to enjoy being young. Don't rush age, it will happen soon enough. I have a boy, 12 years old, and I know that if I caught him kissing right now, it wouldn't be good for him. If I had a girl instead of a boy, she wouldn't wear thongs until she was atleast 13 years old. There's only two reasons girls wear thongs.....1.) to not show a panty line with a dress....or 2.) to impress a boy. You shouldn't need them for either one right now.
Trust me, they're not worth it. No one is going to see it. It's not going to attract guys. And they're uncomfortable for someone your age. You should know better. Television is made to entertain people with fiction. Adds are to attract people, and in the example you provided, to attract men to their product. I bet those girls are full of it. No way would their mothers let them wear thongs. And I bet you any amount of money they've never touched a boy before.
don't do it they are way uncomfortable and the girls who kissed a boy already and ware them thats them .....if you want a kiss from a boy (which i wouldn't have wanted that when i was 11) be your self with out the thong because the guys like you for who you are and if its just cause of looks they will use you and spit you out! i didn't have my first kiss till i was 15 and now im 18 and married to the guy i kissed .... isn't that more of what your looking for?
I would say if their parents let them wear thongs at that age something is wrong with the parents. You are young be young and have fun doing kid things. I would say 16 is a good age to start getting thong underwear, and probably also a good age for your first kiss. I wouldn't go kissing any boys before that.

You are to young and so are the other 3 gals. These aren't even healthy for you to wear. Just wear one of the new brightly colored bikini undies. They come with little matching tops too. Cotton is a much better choice for you cause it won't cause any yeast infections like the nylon types can. Wait on those until you are at least l5-16. Most only wear them because they are the "in" thing. They aren't really comfortable.

i am 13 and my friend has 1 and she is constantly getting in trouble with it. it is constantly showing, and she does that on purpose. she has had so many bfs because she dresses so sluty, and don't kiss a boy on the lips, i never have. once again, my friend has and she went further than kissing and now she thinks she could b pregnant. i think u should get a thong when u r ready, but just don't show it to the whole world. and u shud kiss a boy when u find someone that u really like and u really like them. like when u r 13 or 14 and those girls at ur school, they will regret all the things they have done in the long run.
It is just another form of underwear. If you were my daughter, as long as you keep your panties covered, you could wear any kind you like. I think the big problem parents have with thongs is girls who wear super low cut pants to purposely show them off. Talk to your mom. If you plan to wear them respectably, I doubt she would have a problem with it.
You shouldn't want to wear thongs because other people do it. And so if other girls have kissed boys before. You should want to do things because you want to not because other people do it.

Its not really when you can use one, its about when you want too... Not because you see others having it, its about when you're ready. I'm 14 and I wear them all the time, but I've never kissed anyone in the lips yet. Don't rush, you'll know when you're ready
I just got my first one and I'm 14. Yes I got mine to impress my boyfriend but at the same time, I always wanted one. It's pretty but very uncomfortable. Buying a thong young has many responsibilities. If your parents don't want you to have it, you have to hide it, which means you can't get too many (2 or 3 thongs are easy to hide). And from now own (unless you already do this), you have to do your own laundry so no one stumbles upon it. You do what you want, but 11 is too young. 12 or 13 is good. But don't let your thong show or else you'll be considered a ****, even if you haven't kissed a boy yet.
Ok! I am 17 and know a bunch of girls ur age who wear them---but for a good reason we all are ballet,jazz,and other types of dancers!
